121. Solution for Curse and Pilgrim: - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Aramendel on 03/08/2007 12:53:23 To repeat myself yet again: Its ability of killing cap is pretty much USELESS in medium or bigger gangs. Targets die before their cap is dry. The curse is - unlike the other recons - not very effe...

122. Solution for Curse and Pilgrim: - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Aramendel on 03/08/2007 12:07:55 Originally by: Grytok They simply also shouldn't, but they're HACs and no Recons, so OK, my bad by using the word "Cruisers". So HACs are not 2 classes smaller? Or do require more trainin...

123. Solution for Curse and Pilgrim: - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Grytok If you're whining, because you can't solo a BS in your Curse, then I got some news for you: No Cruiser should be able to do that, beeing 2 classes smaller! With the same logic I could say that no cruiser should be...

124. Solution for Curse and Pilgrim: - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Goumindong It already does. A best named medium neut drains 30 cap/second and costs 9.3 cap/second on a Curse with top skills. Small neuts will cost 6 cap and drain 18 cap per second.[faction is 7.5/20] That is a pretty hu...

125. Remote sensor dampeners are overpowered. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Bendit Hmm, here?s maybe a solution. Give the damps a higher cap usage. Problem is that this would give damp specced ships FAR greater problems than a BC or BS who mounts them. Sure, you could give the damp specced shi...

126. ecm drones need a nerf - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Aramendel on 03/08/2007 08:55:02 They are not better than a dedicated ECM ship, but thats besides the point. A dedicated ECM ship cannot do good dps and/or tank and tackle. Lets take for example, a thorax. 5 max skilled t2 hammers ...

128. Remote sensor dampeners are overpowered. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Someone talking about "understanding of game mechanics" and then presenting numbers which are anything but that? check Arazu with max skills and t1 rigs has a dampening strength of -76.3% per damp. With 3 damps and stacking penalities this reduce...

129. Remote sensor dampeners are overpowered. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Hayward Cyprus The only thing I could think of to bring sensor damps more in line is to either remove them lowering scan res (which would be a bit harsh) or at least give that a stacking penalty just like it's targeting rang...

131. A stop to POS spamming? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Jepp, one other option would be to have a special POS type which you can anchor at the sun which is the only sov claiming structure. The problem there could be that it is "all eggs in one basket". Having to kill 47 POSes in a system sucks. Having...

133. NEW graphics - gallery - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Looked it up and, yes, you are right. It is a new model. The differences are rather minor, though, even for a tier3 ship. The abaddon has much more obvious differences. The biggest for the hyp is the different engine trail color.

138. Monthly (major) nag : how would YOU protect a freighter from suiciders - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
*Nothing* you change will make protecting a single target by a fleet against another fleet feasible. You would either need invulnerability or some focus fire nerf (like a real LOS for attacks). Otherwise it will be completely identical to what i...
