102. Difficulties with esi-characters.read_contacts.v1 - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Make an issue on the ESI github page, as I'm pretty sure that it shouldn't just error like that: https://github.com/ccpgames/esi-issues/issues

103. ESI - Scope Questions - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
NP. Well i mean he ~could~ have more than 1 but I don't think that would be the best way to do it. I just have a row for each user, with a token/refreshToken column etc. I store the list of scopes they logged in with, if they login again with a...

104. ESI - Scope Questions - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I don't think you get how it works. Star Lord would have to login with the assets scope and auth that. Then if later on he wants industry jobs (no esi endpoint for that yet i think) he would have to login with BOTH the industry jobs AND assets sco...

106. ESI - Scope Questions - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Also should be noted if you have a refresh token for a set of scopes. You then auth and add more scopes; if you do not update to the new refresh token it will only generate a token for the old set of scopes. Took a while to figure this out :P

108. ESI - End Point Request - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6702732#post6702732 Rereading the post, it was more meant to mean that it's a character based API. You would have to login with each character to auth each one, vs supplying 1 account XML...

109. ESI - End Point Request - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
The first one won't ever happen. CCP stated that they won't do something like the accounts XML endpoint for ESI. So each player would have to log in with all the characters on each account one by one. I remember reading this but not where it is. ...

112. static data in yaml ? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
It exists yes but would be a combination of various tables. Such as InvTypes to get the items and some dogma tables for the attributes. Steve provides the conversions if you use MySQL etc. https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/dump/

113. Learning ESI and More - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Not required no. Using ESI is a bit more in dept for sure than just doing importxml(endpointURL,xpath) but it is also much more useful. I know for sure the public endpoints ( and probably even the private ones somehow) can be used in google sheets...

117. [ESI] Warning headers : what do they look like ? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
It's an HTTP Header called warning. If it doesn't show up then that means that endpoint is still valid. You can see an example of it by calling the /legacy/ version and viewing the headers in Postman or similar app. https://esi.tech.ccp.is/legac...

Thanks Steve, I think you mixed up something in the invVolumes table. It shows the repackaged volume of battleships is 15,000 m3 and battlecruisers to be 50,000 m3. Should be the opposite.
