21. Well enough is enough - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Another off topic post Lao. This is not about people who don't like PvP, actually people who like PvP will be very disapointed because PvP is hardly possible in EVE. Pking is, however, not too difficult, even if it has now been restricted to 0.0...

22. How do you PvP at present - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Good points. I think there is a very interesting aspect to develop in chases. It looks like a good adrenaline source, and it would be more fair. It could be another aspect of combat altogether, involving specific skills and equipement. Maybe a ...

23. Well enough is enough - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Drunkenmaster: "It's just a 'forum thing'." I have to disagree. I have participated in many forums, but I had yet to see such a bunch of hardcore deniers. It's only a few very active posters who just deny any possible argumentation. They instant...

24. Well enough is enough - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I wonder why it is always the mono-syllabic non constructive posts by self-called pirates that make it first after frustrated posts on this forum? Is it campers who switch between game and forums? Not enough to frustrate kill+pod people in game? ...

25. Newbies are almost chanceless? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
At the moment a newbie who wants more than casual playing has but one choice: join a big corp. It is actually already starting to get difficult for smaller corps who started at the beginning of the game. Ok, they have BPs and many advantages over...

26. Moving ships - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I have tried, but the smallest frigates already exceed by far the cargo capacity of the best indys. So for now it's not really possible. I also buy a shuttle and pack n'sell it for a slightly lower price at remote station. It works very well, and...

28. Question about skill training - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
You can look at it this way: To learn a skill level, you have a certain time to train. This time is divided by a factor. The factor is determined by the primary and secondary attributes for this skill; primary attribute + half of the secondary a...

29. Why take out the save password thing? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Of course there are technical ways to protect your PC, and you could protect your saved password. Now try to think being in CCP's shoes. If you offer a not completely safe system, users WILL have accounts stolen. They COULD protect their PCs, but...

30. Buggy Demand lists - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Yes, market has problems these days. Sometimes in the advanced market it tells you the closest deal is 4 jumps away and you can see on the map of the same advanced market that there's nothing 4 jumps away, or the price is not what it says, or oth...

31. Industrial ships - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I like very much the industrial ships, they look good and I like the way they are implemented in EVE. Therefore, I find it a pity there is not more choice, not that there is not enough different ships, but when it comes down to choice, you just ...

35. Hoping for an Intelligent Answer or Two... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I like the ideas going around in this thread. I think they make sense. The whole point of the PvP is to have potential for freedom and fun, making sure the potential for frustration is kept as low as possible. This is very difficult balance to r...

36. Exploring-mapping.. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

37. Exploring-mapping.. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
That's what they did in Earth and Beyond. Also you got some experience for every station explored. Can't say it was really fun though, seemed a bit too artificial. I don't see this feature as being very compatible with EVE either.

Chagidiel, good post. I like it. A few comments though: 2. You dont want to be in a corp, or want a corp all alone? hire someone for an hour or two. Give the person some ISK for helping you out, but make sure you still make a profit. Sure, its n...

40. Corp Taxes on hold - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Great to get some feedback, thanks Pann! Our corp is eagerly waiting on taxes to work, the reason is taxes is what we want to rely on to finance all the corp expenses (rents, BPs, all that a corp can provide). The way we'd like to see it work i...
