Problem with the DD is it has no buffer to soak up any amount of damage and you still have to get close to kill your target.

Just use 2x RR tengu and save yourself alot of trouble (Carriers make big targets) ****, even a pimped out Tengu can solo run C4 sites if you are careful about the trigger ships
