There should be logs located in a folder called launcher/cache inside your EVE installation. If you could provide those, we can see if anything presents as to a cause.

As per my message in the main feedback thread here , if you're having problems with it downloading an installing the update, you can manually do so by using this link , and pointing the installer at your EVE installation.
