1. New Dev Blog: Neural remap, PLEX and the way forward - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
It was a disappointing but I suppose inevitable decision. Currently, with their parent's credit card someone can buy a character with 60 million SP and provided they never undock in a T3, there is nothing that the combined playerbase can do to r...

2. New Dev Blog: Attention on Deck - Cool Stuff Happening in Incursion - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Thank you for the info and the changes. It will take a very skilled QQ to find anything to complain about in this! The faction market changes were a very pleasant surprise. I greatly prefer to see the history from EVE Central/metrics/markets/etc....

4. New Dev Blog: EVE and ShaderModel support û Episode II - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
1) can you tell us what the cutoff is for Macs since your app does not seem to run on them? 2) Any way this could be used to make sure the "everything but shooting" is in EVEGate by the same time? I.e., my guess is the number of people who have o...

5. New Dev Blog: The API Dev Blog Trilogy - Volume One - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Thanks for the API efforts!!! Is there any way we will ever get the cacheing at the server side? My concern is that even if all my apps are well behaved, I could still request a cache many times in an hour. Locally I might have jEVEAssets, EFT, E...

Originally by: Malcanis Good Stuff ... There is, to be fair to CCP, a LOT of interest in Incarna, and from what I read on other sites, not having an avatar is kind of a deal breaker for a lot of people. It's not about functionality, it's ...

Thank you very much!!!! I may disagree with some of CCP's choices and priorities, but your openness is world-class! It goes a long way towards trust and understanding. Except for the usual anonymous e-forum denizens of course.

9. New Dev Blog: The Circle of Life - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Originally by: Kerfira You're also assuming that macro-miners/ISK-farmers will be the only ones mining after prices drop. That is a somewhat strange assumption since ISK-farmers are the ones MOST focused on how much they bring in. My...

11. New Dev Blog: The Circle of Life - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
There is so much compalints with people thinking EVE insurance should be related to insurance. If you are makeing all these changes, why not rename insurance? Save us all the ongoing comments about RL, risk-based insurance which do not seem too r...

Will there still be non-platinum insurance? and why? I can understand not insuring but don't see why you would insure for less than platinum? At the least, while you are in this code, would you make platinum the default on the dialog box?
