1982. [IDEA] New Ship Class: Heavy Lifter - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Wow... Station containers would be WAY too much. I really do think that eve need some way of transporting 100,000-150,000m¦ of goods. A single freight container is 120,000m¦. Station containers are grotesquely huge and should NEVER be moved around...

1983. [IDEA] New Ship Class: Heavy Lifter - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
One current drawback I see with building large numbers of ships at a POS (which SHOULD be the place you would prefer to build them) is that there is no easy way to move them out of the POS to a selling point. What I would like to see is a ship spe...

I think he was more likely whining about the logistics of moving ships in eve. His wording was just a little miffed.

1985. POS mining - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I believe you can only use 2 harvesters on a moon. One for each material the moon provides. And that is only if the moon provides two DIFFERENT materials.

1986. Drone Control Points - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: xenodia I know this is really intended to be a "why the myrmidon will suck" discussion, and I agree, with it relying on its drones for damage, it needs the ability to carry spares. I just dont think completely redesigning t...

1987. Mining - Carrier - hulk - gang - in Science and Industry [original thread]
A carrier would be no worse for defense than a command ship, especially since if you are going to be using the command ship for defense (i.e., fitting weapons), you're looking at it not contributing to the mining either. So if that is the case, yo...

1988. roid popping - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I recall something similar to what Serenity was saying. Popping bad roids i believe was a good thing, as there was a slight chance that when it respawned, it would be a better type. But once you HAVE the better roid there, not popping it kept it t...

1990. modulated mining - in Science and Industry [original thread]
no skill affects burnout rate. the burn-out is random (meaning there is a chance per cycle of doing damage to the crystal). I believe average lifetime of a tech 1 crystal is around 20 hours, and a tech 2 crystal is like 4-6 hours. There is a discu...

1991. Experience for ships - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I think this is where they are trying to go with rigs (to some extent). Fit a rig to the ship, and it stays there (sort of implants for ships). Cannot be removed, and is there until the ship is destroyed or repackaged. Give's another reason to kee...

1993. Command Frigs (Idea) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Maybe as a new tech 2, but should NOT be stronger than the current AF's. AF's sould be the most hardenned class of frigates. The command Frigs should maybe be a tech 2 variation of the support style frigates (Griffin, Crucifier, Maulus, and Vigil)...

1994. Jacking a ride - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I guess we'll just have to see how much salvaging gets used. It looks intersting, but we'll have to see how much isk can be made at it, to determine if it will be worth it. I sure wouldn't mind flying around a garbage skow, pulling in the wreckage...

1996. Pimp my manufacturing UI - in Science and Industry [original thread]

1998. Jacking a ride - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I like the idea, but the stolen flag might not work. Once a ship is repackaged, it reverts to a plain item, and looses all custom flags (like name, rigs, etc), so repackaging would remove the flag. I'm not sure our ships have ID numbers anyways to...
