1. FOF missiles question? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Yeah. Thx anyway. I don't think I've really fired these. Maybe once a long time ago grinding standings in a Guristas L3 mission?

2. FOF missiles question? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
During a gank, do these keep firing even after the concord Captains have jammed, webbed, neuted etc. up until the Officer snuffs you out?

Certain gates have ship-size restrictions. A box will pop up and tell you what can pass through.

4. Save the Muninn - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The muninn needs a high slot moved to a midslot (or low) because 2 utility highs aren't sensible on snipers really. Next, the long-awaited buff to artillery. It doesn't need to be an uber-buff but arty sucks, and zero cap use is *not* a valid tra...

5. The state of blasters--my own experiences - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you orbit at full speed at blaster optimal of course you will miss a lot. That's how tracking works in this game. All you learned is that blasters shouldn't be used this way. Either get in close and manage transversal to be as low as possible,...

8. Ecm Jamming Chance and Bayesian Probability - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Please stop referring to this as Bayesian probability (or Bayesian calculus). That is a different thing. This mathematics is just the binomial distribution from statistics, despite the OP's insistence that it isn't. I must agree though that dedic...

10. Ecm Jamming Chance and Bayesian Probability - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
What's with using experiment programs to solve this sort of thing - it's fairly simple maths. For 6 jammers and 2 targets (50% each) the probabilities are: 0 jams: 1.5625% 1 jam: 9.375% 2 jams: 89.0625%

13. Anyone tried AB and MWD on the same ship? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I was wondering if you could use an MWD to close range and then switch to AB for orbiting to avoid the sig penalty and scram vulnerability. Has anyone tried using an AB and MWD on the same ship before? If so, was it any use?

14. so is the huginn a steaming pile? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
No idea how people fit these. This setup fits and has all its mods operating at about the same range (30-40km ish). Lame dps, but it's minmatar and has the ever-versatile dual weapons system :/ [Huginn, dunno] Power Diagnostic System II Power Dia...

15. Artillery is just fine, especially on capitals. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I just fired up EFT to test this and unbonused lasers do indeed put out more dps than artillery with a 37.5% bonus. The tracking is about 35% better too. Yay for capless weapons. Meh. If a decent proportion of the playerbase used arties then it m...

16. Dramiel - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Not to p!ss on your chips or anything, but the dramiel is *the* most broken ship in the game. It gets all of its bonuses towards small projectile turrets, but of its 5 high slots it only gets 2 turret hardpoints (and 3 missile hardpoints lol). N...

17. Muninn: move a high to a low? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Actually, moving a high to a mid is probably better than to a low. I don't think both utility highs should be moved though. Add a little arty love (just 5% damage, maybe a larger clipsize) and things would be more balanced.

20. Muninn: move a high to a low? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
At the moment the moomin, designed primarily as a sniper is pretty sub-par. In a typical glass-cannon sniper setup it does about 60% of the damage as a zealot with about 87% of the tracking (with similar ranges). That's a massive difference - 3 ze...
