1. Interceptor Change Proposal - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Interceptors were problematic a couple of years ago when they could fit entosis modules but that has been fixed. Since then I've seen a few people complaining that that are hard to catch but - that's their role - working as intended.

3. Best race for alpha account - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
For PVP you'll probably be happy as Caldari. Most alliances have a Caracal doctrine and welcome them in fleet. Likewise the Blackbird for ECM. The Gallente Navy Vexor is a popular ratting platform if your preference is PVE. You can do both. Ther...

4. Old Skins - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Place a buy order in Jita (or one of the offshore citadels) and see what happens. If there is any in-game market, that's where it will be.

5. Building VS Buying - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Most of the time you can make money on T2 and T3 if you build the components in a bonused facility. Right now there is a speculative bubble in moon materials in anticipation of the refineries so you need to be VERY careful when building T2 products.

6. Tech 3 Ships - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I believe generalization is definitely CCP's vision for the T3s. The Eve equivalent of a Shopsmith tool - good at everything, best at nothing. The removable rigs are a big step to achieving that vision. Other than that, I expect them to dial back ...

7. Which Force Auxiliary? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Your corp/alliance should have doctrine fits for capitals. Force auxiliaries you need to decide if you will be repairing shield or armor and whether the ship will be solo or part of a cap chain. They are all the right choice in the right situation.

8. Moving ships around (miner and frigate) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you are talking about the ships you got free in the career missions - most of them will fit in the Nereus you got in the business missions as long as they are packaged. Use the Expanded cargohold modules you also received as mission rewards. It...

9. Porpoise vs Retreiver - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you are mining in dangerous space the retriever is an excellent choice - not because it is survivable but because it is cheap. You only a few loads of ore to pay for it. Insure the ship and getting blown up doesn't hurt. If you want more yiel...

10. Orca - Dev plz respond :)! - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Starting from scratch with no implants, you can sit in an Orca in 3 weeks, an Exhumer takes 7 weeks training and a Rorqual 3 months. This does not seem to be an unreasonable progression. Why would we need something in the middle? Excavator drones ...

11. Orca - Dev plz respond :)! - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Rorqual and Orca were designed as mining support ships. 6 months ago they had no mining functionality whatsoever. Both ships used to hide behind a POS forcefield where an AFK pilot could boost the entire system. Not good gameplay. When they were ...

12. Battleships and Capitals: Bigger is not better - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
CCP Quant publishes a report called Damage Profiles by Ship Group and Weapon Type. For 2014 and 2015 battleships were at the top of the list. I don't see a report for 2016. https://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/damage...

13. Best of class: Assault frigates - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Why would you pay 24 million for a Vengance when you can buy a Confessor or Jackdaw for 35 million? In what scenario is the Assault Frigate a better choice? That's the viewpoint you need to approach any rebalance discussion. AFs are not independe...

14. Need help deciding on a BC - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you are just moving into battlecruisers it is unlikely that you have both turret and launcher support skills at level 4. It's also unlikely that you've trained to fit a T2 tank for both shield and armor. Drake is a missile boat optimized for a...

15. Battleships and Capitals: Bigger is not better - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Little ships have been killing big ships since the invention of the Whitehead torpedo in the late 1800's. Torpedo bombers were one of the biggest threats to capital ships in WW2. Real capital ships have point defense and CIWS in addition to an e...

16. Afterburner - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

17. Nestor, the odd SOE ship out - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
They gave it battlecruiser mass instead. Nestor can fit in C1 wormholes. The biggest problem used to be the price but it's now competitive with other pirate battleships in the 400 million range. I don't think it's practical to try and use all its ...

18. Nighthawk Vs Vulture - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Actually, the Vulture gets the extra midslot and I think you'll find that makes all the difference. A key attribute for command ships is survivability. Vulture has the strongest shield tank and Damnation the strongest armor tank in the class.
