Have you tried clicking on "Settings" in the lower left of the Launcher and enabling "Download everything" in the General tab?

Seriously, I have to change the Launcher to roughly 900x800 pixels just so that I can launch any of my accounts without scrolling. This is bad UI design, please consider shrinking that box to two news items.

I've been using ISBoxer to manage windows and different character sets ever since it became available. With the new launcher I haven't had any reason to even start it up. There is however one small piece missing that I would very much like to see ...

I get the whole "involve players in the actual fights" but the mentioned DD mechanics sound like World of Warcraft Boss mechanics to me: don't stand in the fire. We'll see where EVE's capital ships end up role and gameplay wise.
