Edited by: Dragonaire on 24/07/2008 20:52:58 Hi, In this thread deadmeet was asking about roles fields in APIs and it inspired me to take a couple hours and throw together a simple class to work with it. Thought it would be useful for others...

1829. refID in WalletJournal.xml.aspx - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Just had another idea on how to approach it too. Tables that use refID or other fields like it that recycle over time also have date/time field that could be used with it to tell them apart easily. DBs have no problems using composite primary keys...

1831. Informations about roles in membertracking - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
No think they are adding 64 to php6 but easy to work around it using BC Math functions that work on strings. That was approach the class I talked about above uses to work around problem. BC Math started being built in by default some time in the p...

1832. Transaction and Journal API caching - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Just an update on what I've found by looking at my log files. the cache until time seems to be set to 10-15 minutes after first journal or transaction hit. So if you get journal for wallet 1000 it gives you a time 15 minutes in future. If you then...

1834. Informations about roles in membertracking - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
You might try finding the old IGBClass 2 from Patrick D Hall it had function in it to check roles that should work with just a few updates. I don't have a good link for it any more but think I found it on Eve-files. It uses BCD code which has been...

1836. Get the roles of a corp member with title - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Titles are just a way to make it easier for us humans to set a set of roles we want someone to have in corp so you'd just have to do the inverse to get back to titles but if you have overlapping sets might make it harder to figure out
