641. Assault Frigate vs. Cruiser for first several months of play? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: jbob2000 They can't mine for one thing, and in my opinion mining is quite important for you first few months. Also for pvp, AFs are a bit slow. They can't tackle, which is all a frigate is usefull for in pvp. In groups, AFs...

642. Assault Frigate vs. Cruiser for first several months of play? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: jbob2000 Depends. Cruisers have more versatility and are alot cheaper. AFs have one purpose, and that is to destroy stuff. When you say that AF's are less versatile, what else are you referring to besides less cargo spac...

643. Assault Frigate vs. Cruiser for first several months of play? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
11 days in: I've been running around in a Merlin and really like the idea of upgrading to an Assault Frigate, but most folks seem to advocate for going into a Cruiser. I'll spend a majority of my time in PvE for the first 90-120 days before movin...

644. Assault Frigate Skills - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I've been playing for one week: Besides the learning skills and the pre-reqs for the AF itself, should I basically just look to get four 125-railgun T2 w/pre-reqs, Afterburner T2 w/pre-reqs, Shield booster w/pre-reqs, and Rocket Launcher w/pre-re...

645. Is it reasonable for me to ask someone for a region of instajump BMs? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
That's too bad the economics are such as they are but certainly understandable. I'm sure the hardware upgrade will alleviate the lag induced from copying.

I thought that you could simply drag a created EVE folder of bookmarks into the trade window, but obviously it is not that simple.

648. Is it reasonable for me to ask someone for a region of instajump BMs? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: DrakeStone on 15/02/2006 18:14:12 I've heard of people charging a lot of money for these by region in the escrow system. Is it not common practice to trade these over to your corp mates? I'm in Eve University and have not asked any...

650. Bookmarks can be sent to friends online, correct? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
So just to be completely clear, I can use INSTA-JUMP bookmarks that someone else has created without ever having been to that location before?

651. Bookmarks can be sent to friends online, correct? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: DrakeStone on 14/02/2006 20:02:12 If so, couldn't I just ask a fellow Corp member to send me their *Insta-Jump* bookmarked coordinates so I would not have to run the path myself or must it be done by me personally?

653. Are MicroWarpDrives that good for lessening travel time? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
FYI: 7 days played I am very impatient and nothing irks me more than seeing something is 11 jumps away. I have a regular 1mn afterburner. Would the addition of a MWD help considerably? Also, is it on all the time or do I need to be sitting there ...
