1. Balancing for ships but no love for the Hulk. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Sakari Orisi wrote: Are you sure you know what you're saying ? The mackinaw requires roughly the same amount of training as a hulk. The hulk outmines the mackinaw, but has a smaller ore hold & little cargo to compensate. The mackinaw is me...

2. Balancing for ships but no love for the Hulk. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The Mackinaw used to be the best ice mining ship in the game with the Hulk being the best ore miner. It seems that the Mackinaw is now the best all round which really leaves the Hulk redundant. A 35K ore hold compared to the Hulks paltry 8.5K and ...

3. Nano ship changes - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Just goes to show that noobs are not the only whiners. Veteran players whine just as much and get the only decent setups nerfed so they can get them at gate camps every time so they don't have to work too hard to defend their turf. -- Freighte...

4. So I just trained for inty. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I put standard missiles on it because the info says EM missile damage bonus rather than rocket. Still not sure if there would be a distinction between rockets and missiles on that one though. Advanced weapon upgrades seems like what I'll need. ...

5. Phantasm - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Drizit on 17/06/2006 12:08:58 I've used it only in PVE and it makes using normal cruisers seem like you were flying frigates on lvl2 missions. Not a good tanker though as far as I can tell (still need some more shield skills), but ...

6. Amarr Injustice - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I fly a Prophecy mostly and I am quite happy with the DPS and tanking ability of the ship. The only problem I find is doing both together. Erk...no cap left. Armour reppers eat lots of cap and so do the weapons so I generally find myself sacrifi...

7. So I just trained for inty. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Got my Malediction and finally I can fly it woohoo! Bonus to EM missile damage, hey that's great and it even has 2 missile slots. The problem is that I can't mount wo missile launchers on it... Well, I can but as long as I don't mount any other t...

8. I wonder whether these modules ever really see any use? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I use nanofibers instead of inertia stabilisers because they actually give a better gain on agility. Local hull nanofibers give -15% inertia as opposed to the Inertia Stabilisers -10%. On top of that, I get extra speed of 24m/s as well for a los...

11. Question about armour hardeners - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Game mechanics FTW. With skills you can get over 100% damage. If I had 100% resist, any damage you do above 100% should be inflicted on my ship. At least, that's how it should work. Obviously CCP had different ideas. --

12. Thoughts about battlecruisers. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I totally agree with the OP. IMO, the BC is a great ship and has a lot of potential as a stepping stone from Cruiser to BS but does seriously suck when it comes to agility. This means that most people skip BC's and go straight for HACS that have ...

15. Question about armour hardeners - in Ships and Modules [original thread]

I have four hardeners on my Prophecy, 1 of each type. If I mount them on my ship and check the info on my ship with them all de-activated, I have the following. EM 62% EX 24% KI 28.75% TH 38.25% I then activated one and checked the info, turned i...

Edited by: Drizit on 03/05/2006 00:43:57 Local hull conversion nanofiber hull mods. They cost plenty but give 24m/s each with -15% inertia bonus. I have two and can take it up above 550 with T2 AB as well. Get rid of those armor plates you do...

20. Warp Core Stabilizer Tech II - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
