1. foreman not working again? works then it dont??? any answers - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Edited by: Duradam on 06/12/2006 01:39:29 Dude, Halda isn't wrong on this one. His guide does cover the leadership system. Your problem would seem to be that you have 3 people, and your squadron commander has only 1 rank of leadership trained....

One of the mining implants was report to have a stacking issue with mining foreman skill, and causing implant wearers to loose out on 5% yeild as compared to those without the implant, but with the link mod active in gang. The other implant works...

3. Mining drones, an in depth look - T1 vs. Harvesters vs. T2! - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I agree with your views, I've found t2 mining drones to be very much worth the investment, but have not bought harvesters due to thier size, speed and cost. Even 5 t1 mining drones help profits noticably, so if you have any use at all for drones ...

5. Mining POS - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I belive the 35% is a cap. The 75% for the intensive is a cap- I get about 62% or so, and my refining char with good skills gets 75%. So I'd never use a non-intensive array for refining ore, just for ice.

6. POS in reinforced mod - in Science and Industry [original thread]
A large POS uses 200 stront an hour. Will it use 200 an hour if you have sov, or just 75%, for 150 an hour? I know a pos in reinforced mode doesn't count for sov, but we have other POSs in system that would be maintaining sov.

7. Capital Mining Ship - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Several of the suggestions would not- they suggest a drastic increase in yeild for low end ores, so that we can get the ammounts of trit we need in 0.0 more easily. Most of us don't expect a ship with double the yeild of a hulk on ABC ores.

9. PoS Refining Arrays? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Aldir Rundal A good analogy I read was think of the intensive refining array like a 50% station refinery with a 25% tax. The refining at POS refineries is caped at a certain amount. No way to get around that. That sound...

Do the arrays vanish if the tower is destroyed, or could you anchor a new tower and get ownership of the arrays?

In many places, it is preferable to mine a little, jettison it into a 27,500m3 jetcan, and then procede to fill that over the next half hour to hour, then haul it all back. A jetcan will last for at least an hour, at least 2 when named, and perhap...

14. business idea, is it worth it? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I have doubts that you'll find many takers on your offers. Most 0.0 corps will want the minerals delivered where they produce, and I expect they will want that area to be rather restricted acsess. Maybe it will work, but I think you may be bette...

20. Does Sov affect stront useage as well? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
The tittle pretty much sums up my question. Does having sovrenity in a system make your POS use only 75% as much stront per hour of reinforced operation? Or is the 200 stront/hour figure for a large tower a constant, regardless of sov? Also, does...
