1. Special Nodes - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Threads aren't always the right way to go, and in some cases can lead to worse performance - not better. That's even without touching on the myriad of new and exciting quirky random behaviours it can lead to, or how it complicates debugging. It i...

3. Sticky:EVE API and Public CREST discussion - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
You can monitor neighbours directly, but it means throwing a lot of warm bodies into wormholes on the off chance that someone might log in, much less do something that puts them at risk. Even though the NPC kill data is delayed it is useful for ...

5. Wormhol.es - Source code released - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Unbeknowst to me Eve-Kill EPIC API stopped working a while ago, which would mean that out of the box wormhol.es wouldn't work at all in terms of providing intel. It would as a minimum need to be refactored to use the new Zkill API - though this sh...

8. EVSCO/EVE-KILL APIs - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Polling any of the three systems that CCP originally incorrectly named (J1340+6, J1259+0 and J1226-0) returns no data. Neither the original or correct system name works in the EPIC API. Eve-Kill itself also incorrectly still uses these system names.

9. phpBB 3.x API Registration Mod v5+ - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
I've made some changes to this mod for my own forum, namely making it so that people can register without providing an API, but if supplied the usual checks are made. In other words this enables the following choices for registration: API key ...

12. titles in colour - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
As above. Same principal as for overview colouring. You can't use colours in a title you can set manually via "Edit Member", you have to overwrite one of the titles in the Corp Management titles screen (don't know what privs you need for this).

13. EVSCO/EVE-KILL APIs - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Found another bug, "orderBy" doesn't seem to work properly at all. For example, I'd expect this query to get the most recent kill in August: http://eve-kill.net/epic/system:J122818/mask:655359/mailLimit:1/startDate:2012-08-01/endDate:2012-08-31/...

17. Calculating orbits - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Yeah, just trying to reproduce what you see when you hit F10 in game, no more no less. I realise celestials don't actually orbit in the traditional sense (as in they don't move). All I can find is the X, Y, Z coords in mapDenormalize and eccentr...
