106. New BS's and BC's - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
No. They are only T1 Tier2, so expect something like lvl3-lvl5 of the relavent skill for each. (BC skill for BC, BS skill for BS). Pricing wise, I suspect that they will be ~150-160m to begin with for the battleships. And ~40-60m for the battlec...

112. Evef Tanking App - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
There used to be an app which would take the output of Quickfit and calculate how long you'd survive against various NPC's. It was a .NET app, not an Excel spreadsheet. For the life of me I cannot find it. Anyone got the link? What I do the r...

113. off the wall ferox set up - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
A lot of Dual 150mm's and a few mag stabs make a Ferox/Brutix a fairly decent anti-frigate platform. Also stick a few painters onto your mids, and add some assault launchers, or a heavy nosf if you can. What I do the rest of the time - Vote f...

114. off the wall ferox set up - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
That setup works, but you have to place a lot of reliance upon getting to your target in the first place, and on the blasters having sufficient range. Now... blasters on a Vulture? 100% bonus to range gives heavy neutron II's a range of about 20k...

116. Cardboard Railrox for missions? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Same applied to the Vulture really. Thing to remember is that Ferox @ lvl5 = 50% range bonus, which effectively negates the 50% range penalty of antimatter ammo. What I do the rest of the time - Vote for a Jita bypass!

117. Command Ship Bonus: What's the Max? How do you work this stuff out? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Yes, I was talking about net overall yield. A shield resist bonus of 56% to 58%, is not in my opinion, as worthwhile as an armour bonus from 20% to 36% (numbers for sake of argument). Obviously this doesn't take into account the amount of shield...

118. Command Ship Bonus: What's the Max? How do you work this stuff out? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Remember those effects stack with whatever your ship is running. So ironically, tanked ships gain the least. It's actually much more effective IMHO to run a shield resist mod with a gang full of armour tankers. What I do the rest of the time ...

120. When a HAC meets a BC ... - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
BCs are pretty ebil in PvP, with an appropriate PvP setup. So I wouldn't be surprised to see the BC win. CommandShips are frankly ebil too. They soak up a silly amount of damager before they go pop, and combined with a logistics cruiser they are ...
