Calculation of the signal strength of a target ship is something like ship sig radius divided by sensor strength. So a high sensor strength gives you a really low signal strength making you hard to probe.

Tbh if your playing the tackler role in a fleet id recommend a MWD purely since your gonna need to be able to get in range fast (although you probabaly will find that an ares is better at tackling).

run a level 1 mission clear out the rats but dont hand it in mine the roids in the missions. Not perfect but gives a decent number of roids and will keep you out of the way of casual can flippers
