1961. Amount of points in each skill - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Amounts of points required to be at a given level for a skill: 1 - 250 2 - 1415 3 - 8000 4 - 45255 5 - 256000 Note that level two seems to actually be 1414.25, but it's rounded up. This becomes important because you multiply the base amount by t...

1963. Security Status % numbers? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
(Okay, first off, this all is subject to correction by my fellow gurus here. I think I'm right, but if someone like Dark Shikari or F'nog corrects me, they're probably right.) Well, since the max security rating you can get without doing missions...

1964. NPC pirates and asteroid belts...a question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Security level just influences how strong the rats are. 1.0 and 0.9 shouldn't have any rats at all, so you should be safe. As a side note, I envy those of you who don't get disconnected if you go AFK for ten minutes.

Clear your Eve cache. It's about time I did that again... It's been starting to take a while lately.

1966. Ship components used in what blueprints??? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Are you looking at capital ships? Seems reasonable that those would want capital ship components. Try looking at something like a Hawk.

1967. Armour and resist shield skills - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Zonna Observator While we talking about shield hardeners. What are the penalty of using the same shield hardeners anyway? Slow shield recharge rate? Each hardener/resistance amplifier after the first has less of an effect ...

1969. Armour and resist shield skills - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
They affect the modules, not your ship. So they're useless if you don't have the modules.

1970. Ship components used in what blueprints??? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Eh? Those ship components are used to construct T2 ships. The "precursor items" you refer to are listed under Reactions.

1971. Auditing & Corporate Hanger Issues - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Nope. Don't put it in the hangar unless you can handle it vanishing without a trace. Of course, you should be able to see what your corp members have in their private hangars at that station (the "member hangars" [or whatever] button, which shoul...

1972. Could someone explain the BPO system? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Read the very well-hidden guide I linked you to earlier, then ask questions. It's a lottery, so it can be anywhere from as soon as you sign on with the agent (okay, not quite, but you get the idea), to never.

1973. Could someone explain the BPO system? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Er... This is only true for the Tech Level 2 BPOs. T1 BPOs are freely available on the market. You don't find out when until they're on your agent's predictable patents list. You don't have a chance in hell, but you just MAY get lucky. I am goin...

1978. I want too p2p but need to ask 2 Q's - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
1) No idea. When I wanted to play Eve, I spent quite literally thirty seconds fruitlessly trying to find the trial, and said "screw it" and paid the $20. I wanted it that bad. Funny thing was, I had been scared off during the beta. Go figure, eh? ...

1979. Is all storyline missions all starts from the same agent after tutoria - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]

1980. question about agent levels and security standing - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
