21. Mineral Prices and WTF is going on. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: LHA Tarawa Unless, as I believe, almost all the money being made missioning is already ending up in the hands of an industrialist when they buy ships or modules to replace losses in PVP. I believe you are wrong. Just to...

22. POS for a small group- Questions - in Science and Industry [original thread]
A few points for you to consider: 1) You're better of generally manufacturing in NPC stations as build slots generally are widely available. It is research slots that are usually booked. The building out of a pos only gets you a 25% speed bonus a...

24. Mineral Prices and WTF is going on. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: LHA Tarawa Read my above post about how ISK is created and destroyed. Making mission runners buy some other commodity from industrialists does not alter ISK creation or destruction, and therefore will not balance inflation/d...

25. Mineral Prices and WTF is going on. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: LHA Tarawa The BEAUTY is, it will balance itself. If null sec really is that more dangerous than high sec, and prices really are falling to the point that null sec mining isn't any more profitable than high sec, then more p...

26. Clone vat bay question - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Clone capacity as in how many clones can be installed in the ship, not how many sp each clone can hold ( jump clones have no sp limit ). The rorqual has a base capacity of 6 as you can see from the attributes page. That means that 6 + (1.15 * skil...

27. Compressed Ice Refining... - in Science and Industry [original thread]
It gets refined in a single cycle. CDG trades for more than the value of the melted products because it is easier to move. DG does not trade. It is easier to haul to Jita refined than unrefined so nobody takes it there unrefined to sell. As a res...

28. Mineral Prices and WTF is going on. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I can sum up the problem pretty simply now I think: CCP wanted people to move to 0.0 so they gave motivation for this in the form of more valuable ore. People responded and moved to 0.0, increasing the amount of high end ore mined. CCP has no mec...

31. orca and providing fleet bonuses - question re agression. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I certainly never saw a patch note saying they changed it, so as far as I know, it is still true. War targets of your fleet mates can shoot you, but you can not shoot them until they agress you first.

32. Separating blueprint originals from copies - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Is there a non ******ed way to do this? The normal item window can not be sorted or filtered based on whether blueprints are copies or not, and the s&i window which can do this, does not allow you to select them all and move them.

33. orca and providing fleet bonuses - question re agression. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Providing bonus has nothing to do with it. If you fleet with someone at war, you become a valid target to their enemies.

35. Reverse Engineering randomness of variant selection - in Science and Industry [original thread]
They certainly do need to re-learn the lesson from invention and let you frigging choose which variant you want. Nobody likes having a successful invention/reverse engineering run only to get a bpc that is worthless because it's the wrong variant.

36. Ship composition Options - 0.0 mining - in Science and Industry [original thread]
A few corrections: 1) Industrial mode is on a 5 minute cycle, not 10 minutes. Provided that you are in relatively well protected space, you should have a 5 minute warning of incoming hostiles to get out, and that's assuming you don't hear about i...

37. T3 production has hit the wall, and needs fixed - in Science and Industry [original thread]
All but one of the 4 subsystems in each category are now unprofitable to make. By this I mean the materials cost at least as much as the modules are selling for. This makes the bpcs for the unprofitable modules not worth the paper they are printed...
