1. Ishtar Setup - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
If you were to plan on armor tanking, the myrmidon or domi for that matter does so much better at a fraction of the isk loss risk. I'd never pvp in an armor tanked Ishtar, just due to the surviveability. I do however PVE in one. 2xMAR 2xEAMN 1xEXP...

2. Ishtar Setup - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: GenShadowfawx on 24/03/2008 18:27:47 The web on the ishtar is a safety net. Used to ensure anything webbing you can also be countered due to your much higher DPS. However I do agree that it could tempt some people to become "braver"...

3. Drones in pvp - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Drones make up for a lot of weaknesses that any particular ship might face... The dominix is the toolbelt of ships in eve. You can be very effective using support drones or raw DPS drones in the domi, just familiarize yourself with which drones to...

4. Ishtar Setup - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
All have a different taste for the Ishtar as it is a very versatile ship. However since theres only 2 of you I'd suggest nano setups so you can dictate your encounters. High Slots - 3x 125mm Railgun II (Faction Ammo ( I use Iridium) ) 1-2x Medium...

5. Unsensible bonus for the Ishtar - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Or maybe even a % percent bonus to drone hp per level? I completely agree that the 5% to medium hybrid turret is a waste on the Ishtar.

8. do many people actually do explosive damage? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I suppose it all boils down to " Well my highest base resist is EM since im armor so nooone's going to think to hit me with that" mentality... Being a drone user I almost always throw em drones on my target just to see if they have overlooked th...

9. do many people actually do explosive damage? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I'd have to disagree. From what I've seen most seasoned pilots always fit a hardner for explosive (armor tanks) which usually leaves EM being the weakest resistance. Don't believe me .. Ask random pilots in your corp what their resists are.

10. Lvl4 Missoning Ishtar.. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Realize that by passive tanking the Ishtar you are handicapping one of her most useful attributes. Sig Radius. You'll be fitting a nicer tank, but you'll also be taking quite a bit more damage than a normal HAC.
