I may have missed the memo, but since when does the XML API OAuth? As far as I know, that's CREST, not XML API. The XML API needs the CAK (= vCode & keyID parameters).

I seldom cancel orders, so I'm not 100% sure, but I guess the order is availabel in the XML from @issueDate to @issueDate + @duration. As Zad already pointed out, @orderState is there to filter which orders are of interest to you/the appliaction.
