163. Covert Ops Pilot - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Simon Jax Of note, I have not flown such ships and I'm just going off the stats. But given the automatic assumption that the Recon ship starts the fight, I don't see the T1 Cruiser, even T2 fitted, winning that fight. We...

164. Covert Ops Pilot - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Dekiri I would suggest before commenting on a certain ship type you try flying it first and then comment, because it sure doesn't make you look particularly smart. Recon cruisers are nice toys and are sure capable of comba...

Edited by: Humpalot on 29/01/2007 20:31:10 Originally by: Nvermind ARE there any covert ops pilots AT ALL? Absolutely. Lots of them in fact. They are meant to be scouts and most fleets will use one or more. They can also act as...

167. My First PvP - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
It is hard to find good player targets in low sec since pirates are so common there that most "targets" don't bother anymore. Player pirates generally get people at gate and stations. Unfortunately for you the gate/station guns in 0.4 - 0.1 will ...

168. Science Skill books - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Those are all sold by NPCs and you should find them with a search of the market. Players will occasionally sell skill books Picked one up by accident for instance) and some try to scam on the skill books hoping someone is not paying attention. I...

169. What do Standings affect? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Marine HK4861 Other than for Jump Clones, your player corp's standing has no effect on how you operate: all the above checks on standing are derived from your standings alone. If you have a jump clone then join a corp w...

170. What do Standings affect? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thanks for the answers. Just to make life more difficult... When do your Corp standings to a given faction matter and when do your take precedence. Or, how do they inter-relate?

171. What do Standings affect? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I know Standings with a given NPC corp will affect how much they take on a refine at that station and with high enough standings you can get a Jump Clone at that station. What else, specifically, do Standings affect?

174. Micro Warp Drive Jammer? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
For interceptors (such as the Crusader) MWDs are considered nearly required equipment. An inty's defense is its speed and despite the increased sig an MWD gives you on an inty the tradeoff is well worth it. A slow inty is generally a dead inty.
