1. A bit of focus ? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Skillwise: I'd say until your core skills for a ship are at about level 3, you shouldn't worry too much about low performance; proper DPS takes time, as you've noted. Get your guns, tank, and navigation up to par and you should be golden for level...

2. "Just because you can sit in it doesn't mean you should fly... - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Metaphorically speaking, the point at which you should fly something is when you stop going "I can't use that yet..." But yeah, if you're not having to sh--fit it, that's about the right time to fly something.

3. Going to be doing a lot of solo mining and hauling for a while - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Short version: Ignore haulers, go straight to procurer as quickly as your skill training will allow. As a set of new characters, you can neither refine nor haul efficiently (at all), and thus the benefit of having a hauler early on is greatly off...

4. List of CODE Systems? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Your presence in Seil is underwhelming. I watched 3 ice belts get mined today uninterrupted. Do you know how annoying it is as someone who does math to have to look at dozens of mackinaws and retrievers?

5. "How Highsec miners threaten EVE, and how we can stop them.&quo... - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Active miner here, chiming in on a fun thread: I am grossly disappointed by the distinct LACK of ganking I see in the game nowadays. I flew a massively over-filled cargo mammoth last week with all of my movable goods (in region) for over 25 jumps...

6. Harder punishment for High-Sec carebears - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I got it, I just chose to ignore it in observance of the fact that there are over 2 pages at this point of people riding that particular wave and the actual concepts seemed more interesting to address than going "lol +1 interwebs." On that note, ...

7. Harder punishment for High-Sec carebears - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I was always under the impression that half the fun of piracy was pouncing on the unsuspecting, not forcing the very-much-suspecting out of space dock. Or is the complaint here really just that there aren't enough miners in lowsec? Because what yo...

8. Why EvE subscription is low (A newbro perspective) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Any overwhelming issues that affect the subscription numbers have more to do with the fact that this game "requires" you to read and test things than any other factor. Do you know how to apply the tracking on your turrets? Do you know when you ...

9. Mining Tutorial - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Guys, new user. Treat them as if they actually do not know things and work from there. A Mining Frigate to a newbie is anything that can fit a mining laser. If he had a venture he would not be having this problem.... presumably. That being said, ...

10. Was it all worth it? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Started playing in may of 2009, here; left about the same time in 2012 for real life / burnout on the game. Back after about 2 years and some change because of that siren call of space and stranger danger. The game is certainly worth it from many...

11. Industry players--Travel Advisory--Uedama system--do not autopilot. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Most ganks are done for lulz, regardless of payload. Ganker knows he gets insurance + half his mods/inventory back, plus whatever their hauler/salvager snags from the wrecks. Sometimes, just knowing that they screwed someone out of a 1.5b isk ship...

12. CCP Survey about Industry - Your opinion Doesn't Matter? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
General note: I'm assuming you're building and selling shuttles in a trade hub, otherwise this wouldn't be an actual problem for you with the amount of logistical knowledge and data tracking needed to build and ship that many bloody shuttles aroun...
