102. What is expected of a small corp in nullsec? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Little recent hands on experience, however: I suspect the requirement to be a fully functional corp prior to joining an established alliance is not exactly a "firm rule" You remember what it was like out there, some alliances recruit anyone they...

103. What is expected of a small corp in nullsec? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Wb! Not sure how much input you'll get from this section, but here's my .2 ISK: Null sec PVP corps on the small side will need to be able to field fight generator ships ( handful of dreads at least ) You will need some logistics to supply the Npc...

104. Career Progression - First goal: Lvl 4 security missions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
For something that specific you may have better luck in the mission and complexes forum. You may get lucky in that one of the experts reads this one, but best chances are there when your all dialed in. That said, Minnie guns; Pretty sure that fas...

105. New player advice here please: which racial ship to choose? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you want to know what setup makes you the most ISK in the shortest time, you should ask in the missions forum. I'm sure someone will happily tell you what ship progression, skill plans, implants etc you can then follow. I just urge you to thin...

106. New player advice here please: which racial ship to choose? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Pretty sure that most of us are trying to tell you that they are so much a 50-50 choice that the ONLY thing that tips the scales one way or another are specific, non-mission cases. Incursions use guns 90-99% of the time, so if that is a driving g...

107. New player advice here please: which racial ship to choose? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Still depends :( You will find that missiles are "easier", just fire until things are dead Guns are "faster", one shot kills on small fast stuff, faster cycle times ( non-arty ) That generally said, you will still find exceptions abound for both...

108. what to be prepared for when shooting at suspects - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Now theft etc makes you a 'suspect'. Everyone can shoot a suspect, when you do the suspect is free to fire back for 15 min including pod kills. Most suspects are flagging intentionally, much like the past. Neutral reps etc now get suspect flags,...

109. Can new players ever be on equal footing with older players? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Short answer is yes. Skills max out at 5 and there is a shockingly small group that affect your ship in combat. I suspect you are running into the player skill gap as opposed to the skill point gap. In frig combat, skill points make up only a fr...

110. Sov Amaar but station Gallante - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
A hidden gotcha about this is that gallente factions will begin to hate you as you progress in FW. This standings loss will roll down to the corp that owns that gallente station in amar space, and the station services prices are affected by your s...

Depending on what you find fun, the rifter went from frigate easy mode to frigate hard mode. All viable but that ship in particular is definitely on the other end of them spectrum from when you last played.

Im pretty sure that to someone determined to make it work, any ship would suffice :) Harpy shouldn't be a bad decision either, the enyo suggestion stemmed from its known ability to burn down solo ratters in pretty quick fashion.
