i have never had DPS be a problem in my purture, even with no gyro's, crusier5 does fine. dont use 425's, 220's for damage, 180's for tracking. 425's are just not great at all.

I've heard of people using 7x 150's with destroyers 5, and sticking on a few tracking comps and tracking enhancers to get an optimal of around 100KM using spike. App. its a solid anti ceptor platform.

So basically you want the drake to be a raven with t2 resists. You also want the myrmidon to be the Guardian-Vexor. Im sorry, but these idea's arent even remotely sensible as far as balance goes.

If you want to get ontop of things early - you need to pick a race and stick to it - merlin is caldari, punisher is amarr. So stick with the punisher imo (better frigate than the merlin) and go for a 'crusader' (interceptor) as thats a very strong...
