2. New Dev Blog: Courier Missions Revamp - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
In regards to the PI items being removed from all encounter missions, does this mean that the ancillary structures in the missions that have been dropping items won't be anymore, or is it just a change to the "retrieve item x from the bad guys" pa...

4. [podbay] - Character Monitor published for webOS (Palm Pre, Palm Pixi) - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Would you be willing to release the source? The work that has been done so far has been phenomenal from what I've seen (even if I haven't been able to get it to work yet), and I am a software developer (as it seems a substantial number of EVE play...

Edited by: Melonar on 04/05/2010 18:45:40 Boko, you're funny! Lunatics Anonymous will take in anyone that TEXN rejects. We share a common history after all, but LUNAA is seriously lacking in membership.

6. [Help] VB and dataTables - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
What is the error message you are getting? I'm not familiar with DSetMercader and the only result I found from a Google search was this post. Maybe you are using auto-built classes using VB, but I can't tell from the code snippet.

7. Jabber Server - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
Openfire is pretty easy to set up. Download, install, follow the setup wizard. Then on your router, forward port 5222 to the machine it's running on. If you have a dynamic IP address, I recommend getting a host name through dyndns.org, most router...

12. New Dev Blog: Encore: EVE Online 'Core' - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I don't mean to complain, but is the "corification" to blame for the drastic loss of performance in the In-game Browser? Prior to the Quantum Rise expansion (I think), I had been working on in-game tools for my corp and alliance. I placed the dev...

13. freeform contracts scam i haven't seen before - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
We used to use them at the alliance level to issue "hits" against traitors. i.e. "Bring in the corpse of Traitor McBackstabber to claim the reward." I guess we will just have to replace the in-game tool with an out-of-game tool.

16. Data dump - SQL help requested - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
You would probably do better to join on the ID numbers than the names. The IDs are indexed (by virtue of being the primary keys). The IDs are also integers which eliminates the collation issue entirely. A few other points: This line: "AND invTyp...
