1. Solo-PVP - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Skippermonkey Or perhaps trying out pvp as a noob is the best time to try it. That way you dont get infected by the mindset of the carebear; you do not need massive in-game skills to pvp, and relatively cheap ships can beat ...

2. Solo-PVP - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
The people who recommend noobs to start out with solo pvp really are out of touch with the reality of being new to eve. There is WAY to much you have to learn (by losing heaps pf ships that a noob can hardly replace) when you could just as well jo...

3. Solo-PVP - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Melor Rend on 30/03/2010 20:41:01 I really can't recommend solo PVP unless you're very skilled (real life skills, not in-game). It will just be frustrating and you'll lose your hard earned ISK again and again. The first rule of EVE ...

4. zephyr? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Decent idea CCP. Totally overrated and over-praised in the accompanying Dev Blog (I mean it's only a shuttle with worst available probe launcher) but I guess that's just the marketing division (like when they promised Dominion wouldn't suck).

6. Cap stability- is it really all that? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Pookie McPook As you progress as a missioner you will begin to find it increasingly problematic maintaining cap stability when you are forced into builds that demand an ever bigger tank. My question is this: Just how import...

7. Help me out with 0.0 - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: Melor Rend on 07/10/2009 14:48:34 Generally I can only recommend fitting a cloak on ships that are intended to fit one (or for travel-setups). On all other ships you will nerf your scan resolution (read: lock time) by a great deal. ...

8. T1 Pseudo-Blockade Runner, Ideas? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
For small goods without a scout you're safest in a Covops in my opinion. Just use the directional scanner before warping to gates and be careful of bubbles. The fitting for "safe travels" should be pretty obvious: a few warp core stabs (in case ...

10. A Vagabond for lvl 4 missions? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I'm sure it's possible to run any level 4 in a vaga but I wouldn't recommend it. It's main strength is it's high speed and that's something that isn't of any great help in most level 4 missions. You want a high kill speed and not a high travel spe...

11. A strange Question - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I know that problem quite well. Unfortunately there is no really "safe" way to get them out. However, if you fit the following then you're as safe as it can get: Lows - 2 or 3 Warp Core Stabs - Fill the rest up with inertia stabs and/or nanos...

15. Rohk Fitting - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
For missions I would sell the Rohk and buy a Raven. Guns are way less useful in missions then missiles are. For PvP I'd fit a passive/buffer shieldtank and blasters (see other replies).

16. Passive tanking considered harmful - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Maybe the reason why so many newer players rely on passive shield tankers is that they are simply overpowered compared to any other tank in the game (aside from nano but thats a different story)... Who can blame them if they try and get the best t...
