161. Any hints or updates on a UI roadmap? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Exactly. My old VW Beetle had an all-in-one dial for everything. Nowadays most cars have seperate dials. I kinda like the digital dials in some of the modern cars :). For eve, I think the round bar is misleading, you need to guess too much. How...

162. Any hints or updates on a UI roadmap? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Agreed you should not be able to automate the game in any way. That was not was I wanted to present. Also I think that some of the possibilities were far too wide. But I really meant those addons which would change the look and feel of your ui, ...

163. gtkevemon inconsistent with eve - in Linux [original thread]
It is fixed now. Why would you use evemon and eft in Wine if you can run a native application? - gtkevemon - pyfa I wish the players wouldn't write those helpful market addons in .net or Visual C.

164. Any hints or updates on a UI roadmap? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I really like the possibilities of the addons in those other games, even though the games were boring for me. (We know which, don't we?) You could set up you UI any way you liked and you could fit it to your playstyle. However, but almost all of...

165. Ventrilo in linux? No problem! - in Linux [original thread]
Works rather well. But since it only supports the pulseaudio backend atm, you should have a look at the pulsepatches http://art.ified.ca/?page_id=40 Quality is the same as in windows. The Devs have yet to add minor things like chats, saved use...

166. PvP only (no High-Sec) server - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
More PvP, less whining sounds good. But I still believe, that playing wouldn't be the same on such a server. I agree to the posters above, eve should never be split, one game one server. Thats what makes Eve great. On this server, a very minor p...

167. clone swap - Making pvp easier - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Whats your problem? Just stick learngroups into your clone. E.g. int/mem or per/wil and clonejump for new skills. So you lose just one set of them. As +4 are really cheap atm, thats not much at all. No risk - no fun. @mchief English seems not...

168. The Problem with 0.0 - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Jas Dor So to get into 0.0 your corp has to die in a merger. Gee I don't know why anyone would object to such a thing. That is exactly the problem, yes. I may think of a few alliances which recruit new corps at all, b...

169. The Problem with 0.0 - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Most alliances don't recruit at all. The few who do, have rather crazy requirements. Even small corps have a chance, if that alliance is relocating, newly founded or changing. Then this alliance will often try to move into nullsec, with you, sinc...

There are 2 ships which do this very well. - Rorqual - Carrier Agreed, the jumprange on the Rorqual is a bit lacking but you can move everything rather fast with those two ships.

173. Is there a way to have a custom resolution - in Linux [original thread]
Just set your virtual desktop to your desired resolution. Then run eve in fullscreen. My screen runs at 1680x1050 and my eve-desktop is set to 1560x975. That way my bottom and right-hand side bar stays visible all the time.

Happened to me as well. Missing around a million SP, but there are far to many skills to really check each one. Since it still shows trainging and training speed, I can live with it.
