My teen-age kids get a new video game, and the first thing they do is jump on the internet to find the cheat codes, then they make themsleves invincable and make like 10x the points. What is the point of that? Well, I just want to finish it as f...

7. Do people in Lowsec literary kill any and everyone on sight? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Most faction warfare fights are in low sec. I spent a year in FW and did very little killing of non-war-targets. Basically, if you had high sec status and were in a cheap ship, it wasn't worth the sec status hit. If, however, you were in an expe...

8. Curious regarding Learning Skills. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you spend the proponderance of the time on learning skills (like 16 hours a day) and use the other time to leanr "fun" skills, you'll be fine. Especially if you make use of remaps and implants.

9. stacking penalty question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Bel, are you sure that is accurate? What I was told last week is that ship native attributes (like 5% more damage per level) and implants did not get stacking penalties, but that rigs and mods would trigger stacking penalties on each other.

13. what gets stacking penalty, what doesn't? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
How about... Ship has 40% natural resist to explosive. I add a hardener with 50% explosive resist. Is that 90%? Or does the hardener get hit with stacking penalty? .87*.5= 43% = 83%. Or, since the ship is lower is it 50% + .87*.4= 85%?
