3. Considering Buying an iMac - in Macintosh [original thread]
Well, I am running on a 5 year old MacBookPro, so I am at the lower end of the hardware scale. I have found that the client is playable (I run 2 clients at once) for the most part, but graphics are not as nice and freezes when switching between w...

4. Parallels + Win2k + EVE? - in Macintosh [original thread]
I was wondering if anyone has tried this particular combination? I have been pondering trying out EVE in parallels but the only copy of windows I have is an old Win2k disk, and I am not willing to dump the hundreds of dollars needed to get a Win7...

5. GAH, the disconnects are back - in Macintosh [original thread]
I seem to be getting these now too. The client thinks it is still connected, but is not. I seem to get the problem when I am also doing other things on the machine like watching youtube or, ironically, typing in forum response boxes like this one....

7. Native Client, why not?! - in Macintosh [original thread]
Originally by: Flynn Fetladral But unless the user base of the Mac takes up a larger market share of CCP's player base, It does not make financial sense to invest in such a task. You know, it is funny.... in any market OTHER then compu...

9. Mac & Singularity - in Macintosh [original thread]
I hate to start a new thread for this, but I could not find any non-locked ones already (my bad if I missed one). Any idea when OSX will be able to connect to Singularity again?

10. Native Client, why not?! - in Macintosh [original thread]
Responding to a bit of a necro thread.... One of the reasons CCP is unlikely to build a OSX native client is going to be cultural. OpenGL shops loath switching to DirectX and vice versa. Even if some programmers are willing to retool, there are u...

12. Safari and Eve in Snow Leopard - in Macintosh [original thread]
Runing into a similiar problem here. OSX 10.6.1 on a 2.33 MacbookPro with 3GB of RAM. When running a single instance of EVE (windowed), everything seems fine. If I run two instances (both windowed), non-EVE apps grind to a halt. Physical memory ...
