I think that Homeworld has really good weapon effects for space combat, especially their beam weapon and ion cannons, when they fires, it's a continuous stream of light hitting the target and only pause briefly for recharge. Same goes with auto ...

It's about the fleet command and fleet formation, broadcast works only to a extent, I'm talking about the same concept but actually handing down command actions. Also be able to stay in fleet formation through out the battle.
