1. 32 Bit Launcher still on the wish list? - in Linux [original thread]
How did it kill anything, though? It still works when you use the Windows Launcher in wine.

2. Squished eve client with no mouse? - in Linux [original thread]
Are you trying to play on one screen or multiple screens? To me it looks like the client is actually running in triple screen resolution, but squished into a single screen. I bet if you set the resolution to 1920x1080 it will look correct.

4. Linux and SLI support (or similar, or other suggestions) - in Linux [original thread]
It's not rocket science, really. You basically need three things: - a somewhat recent mesa built with d3d9 support - open source drivers for your graphics card (nouveau for nVidia and ati or amdgpu for AMD) - wine-staging built with d3d9 support ...

5. Manjaro 17 - Black Screen - Linux Newbie, be gentle - in Linux [original thread]
You could enable custom wine in the launcher settings, and just type in the path to where the launcher downloads the CCP wine builds to. I can't check right now where that would be, but I'll update this post once I get home.

6. Manjaro 17 - Black Screen - Linux Newbie, be gentle - in Linux [original thread]
I'm afraid it's been a while since I last used a laptop with optimus graphics, so I can't really tell you how to debug this. I do remember it's been a bit fiddly. Are you sure your graphics drivers and 3d acceleration work?

7. Manjaro 17 - Black Screen - Linux Newbie, be gentle - in Linux [original thread]
Click the E-button in the top right corner of the launcher, tick "Use custom wine" and in "Custom wine path" type in "optirun wine"

8. Latest MESA git /w Gallium-9 insta crash - in Linux [original thread]
What exactly are you looking for? In the evelauncher folder there's a script called LogLite.sh, and in the launcher settings you can find a line called WINEDEBUG to set wines verbosity. If you keep LogLite running alongside the Eve client, it look...

9. Manjaro 17 - Black Screen - Linux Newbie, be gentle - in Linux [original thread]
If you have to use optirun/primusrun I would recommend enabling the custom wine option in the launcher settings and for the wine command type in "optirun wine" or "primusrun wine". If you run the launcher with bumblebee/primus I don't think it wil...

10. RX 480 - in Linux [original thread]
AMDGPU works with the RX480 and it supports gallium nine. So, make sure your version of mesa is compiled with nine support (you will probably need to install it from a third party PPA - I don't use Ubuntu, so you'll have to google there) and use w...

11. EVE Launcher for Linux - in Linux [original thread]
You can in principle still run the exefile.exe in the bin folder directly. You can just not log in through it. Maybe that will suffice? Out of personal interest, what is this problem in the Nine state tracker you have mentioned?

14. Linux Laptop Overheating when run EVE - in Linux [original thread]
As I said - probably a cooling issue. I would suggest getting some canned air and cleaning out the dust. If you can reach the actual heat sinks without voiding the warranty, or if the warranty has run out, I recommend doing so, as by just blowing ...

15. Linux Laptop Overheating when run EVE - in Linux [original thread]
Generally, if a machine overheats there's something wrong with the cooling. Under Windows, Eve might put a little less strain on your components so the issue doesn't occur, but I think the underlying problem is with your cooling, not with the soft...

16. game does not strat with linux launcher - in Linux [original thread]
Well, the sound issue may be something else entirely. Missing the 32 bit graphics driver is a common issue, and since the game starts up now, I'd say you fixed it. For the sound issue - do you use pulse audio? Does your sound device show up in win...

17. PLEASE....go native linux support! - in Linux [original thread]
It has indeed been discussed a million times. Official linux support while possible (like with OSX) wouldn't magically make the game run any faster, and making the game run faster is not a thing they can just do. A petition will not change that, I...

18. game does not strat with linux launcher - in Linux [original thread]
I have no idea what the log entry says, as I can't read russian. However My guess would be that you have a 64 bit operating system and are missing 32 bit libraries. Might want to look up how to fix that in your distributions documentation. You'l...

19. Performance and stability between Linux launcher and Wine 2.0-rc2 - in Linux [original thread]
I haven't "tested" it beyond just playing the game, so I can't give you many numbers. I'm currently running wine staging 2.0 rc3, used to be 1.9.20. As far as the launcher is concerned, there is not much of a difference between the windows- and t...
