Arthur Aihaken wrote: It's not really Burn "Jita" - it's more like Burn "Forge". Bees are free-ranging pretty much everyone in the Forge for juicy targets... Most violent system in the Forge on Dotlan at the moment is Jita, followed by New Ca...

102. War decs : not achieving objectives - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
As much as I don't want to, I have to agree. Forcing players to take part in a war is not a good idea, and not even possible. If they can't avoid the war while playing, they will just avoid playing instead.

103. Game Time Deals - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The first dose is usually cheap. I don't think that people switching to other games is a problem that marketing can fix. Eve is pretty unique - there's no other game quite like it, meaning that people who want to play "something like Eve" pretty m...

104. PSA: Burn Jita - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Well, all I could do would be to ask. But I would get a sample at best, and not a very good one. It's not like I personally know all of the Goonhammer 20k.

105. Game Time Deals - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
People aren't supposed to plan around that. If they wanted players to regularly get extras with their gametime, they'd just make it permanent. Those deals are promotional offers: A bog standard marketing tactic. For a short time you get something ...

106. PSA: Burn Jita - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I'm not saying that most of them aren't alphas - I simply have no way of knowing. But it might be a bit too early to claim with certainty that most of them are Alphas. The naming scheme is obviously for show. Creating characters for a specific eve...

107. CCP please fix lag already - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The server ticks only once per second. Everything you do in game will have a delay, but it isn't lag per se. In PvP, I do not see that as a problem, as it's the same for everyone.

108. PSA: Burn Jita - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Yep, the Jita node crashed around 23 Eve and then got stuck for an hour or so. Then they "remaped" (sic.) it, and it's been working fine since then.

109. Keepstar and Sotiyo - Precursors to Iapetan Titan Class? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
While I would not be opposed to having a limited number of supertitans in the game, I don't really see the benefit. (like I don't see the benefit of the palatine keepstar - if it will ever be built, it will probably be built in a wormhole and then...

112. EVE Launcher for Linux - in Linux [original thread]
You can in principle still run the exefile.exe in the bin folder directly. You can just not log in through it. Maybe that will suffice? Out of personal interest, what is this problem in the Nine state tracker you have mentioned?
