1181. EVE Online is in the Top-Ten Platinum list of WINE - in Linux [original thread]
Well, if it makes you happy, have fun getting yourself off on a platinum rating, I guess. Congratulations, Eve has won Wine!

I know how the ratings work, and it's the reason why those ratings aren't worth ****. The only appdb rating you can somewhat rely on is "garbage", because even a moron like you will acknowlege when something doesn't work at all. Ratings are not a...

No, what I linked is not an "example" - it's a definition. It says so in the page title: "Maintainer Rating Definitions" , not "Maintainer Rating Examples". Please look up what "definition" means. "Platinum" means (by definition, literally) "the...

Eve being platinum I find rather odd, to be frank. Platinum means, that everything works flawlessly 'out of the box', which is simply not the case.

1188. Need Advice Please, -9.0 char, Want to be -5.0 or higher. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
ratting back up from -10 to 0 has never been much of an issue. I used to do it in outer ring with a pilgrim before tags were a thing, and it took 4 hours or so. For many people, that's about the time they need to make the 400 million ISK to do it ...

Actually, I'd steer clear of FW wherever possible. Grab a friend or two, and just roam non-FW low sec, looking for things to kill. You will not have as many targets, but you will also not have to deal with warp core stabs, ship limitations and fri...

Any word on how this has been done? Is that a part kit you bought somewhere, or did you make the parts yourself? If it's the latter, since it's PU Resin, I'm assuming it has bin cast - how did you make the mold?

I know of at least one mission in the SoE epic arc, that has both spider drones and tacklers in the same pocket. That's pretty brutal for a new player. Shoot whatever tackles first.
