No. Because salvaging all my lvl4 missions is already already way too long, even with a Noctis. I would consider that idea only if a completed mini-game ALWAYS yield a decent quantity of something that is NOT a metal scrap.

Well, i tend to think that the most important ships are the ones not on-grid, but potentially coming for you. Which make sense having them shown on top, as you should already be aware of what is on-grid, as it is also shown in the overview.
