Similar problem here. Reinstalling the full client seemed to work fine, then while flying from one gate to another everything blanked. I'll try playing with the graphics settings and report back. Cheers.

I too have tried the workaround. I receive an error 2 (no such file or directory) indicating that the patch is unable to unarchive in "cache". This seems odd as the archived file is in the "cache". Cheers.
