81. How to *really* fix mining - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
In order for you to keep the same amount of raw material available after your proposed change as there is currently at any given time, there would have to be a huge huge huge amount of grav sites available all over the place. Calculate the number ...

82. New part of mining process added to increase fun, decrease bot profitability - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
The idea gives an advantage to team work. This is one of the primary design goals of the game. Saying you'd rather play solo is, in my opinion, a weak argument. AFK mining will still be a viable income stream, as I've mentioned, it just won't be ...

83. New part of mining process added to increase fun, decrease bot profitability - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
This doesn't remove semi-afk mining, only makes it more profitable to not be afk. In fact, you can make increased profits semi-afk mining if you are in a gang with someone else worrying about scooping the dust. You don't even have to worry about ...

84. How to *really* fix mining - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Don't need much of a team for a single pilot to scan down a bunch of sites and stuff them into corp bookmarks which are then used all day long by bot-miners with decreased risk from gankers either.

And if they are theft-flagged from tractoring your space dust you can come smash their loot pinata? Also, when I envision this in use I'm expecting the range of the tractorbomb to be fairly limited, meaning people would have to cover a belt with ...

86. New part of mining process added to increase fun, decrease bot profitability - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Jumping on the mining idea bandwagon. Want this idea to make mining more profitable for active non-bot players, while also increasing the fun of an otherwise boring as **** activity. You are never going to completely remove bots from the game...

88. How to *really* fix mining - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Your suggestion doesn't really fix the problems with mining. It will still be so boring people do it as an AFK activity. Makes ganking more annoying, but doesn't really stop it either. Fixed belts will be cleared 100% of the time, due to...

90. Null sec deserts - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Wormholes seem like a viable option, but for a group of players that dream of participating in nullsec it really isn't. Sure the environments share similarities, but I think you'll find that the majority of people who want to WH don't want to null...

93. Null sec deserts - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think the OP has done himself a huge disservice by making this thread, and his issue, sound like a crusade against TEST. I'm inclined to agree about the dangers of force projection and the high barrier to entry it has created for nullsec sov wa...

One thing I don't like with the OP suggestion is that it is automatic and range based. This means that you basically have a big flashy sign when someone is warping in on you.... Example: I'm ratting in a fairly quiet backend null system. My allia...
