As long as you have a clone with more Sp capacity than you own, you will not lose any SP. But when you get podded, you have to buy another one, because you used yours. It would be nice to set it to rebuy if ou get involved in a war.

I believe Fast talk increases the Sec status gained when hunting NPC's. So you will not instnatly gain Sec status, but when you gain Sec Status from hunting, you will gain it faster
