Eh, can't really knock the drones. Would make corps that tend to go to war a lot better, as everything, ratting and mining, produces minerals, which can be turned into ships. Imagine the Capital ships that can be produced there, and you'll see it...

High int, Perception. Int is primary for most industry skills Perception, cause you will still want new ships/Barges. But personally, I'd recommend a balanced character. One that would allow you to also dabble in hauling/trading as well.
