I had the same issue. I had to clear this folder /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/cache Then I've run the EVE Launcher again and now it's patching. EDIT : Client successfully patched

I did not test to install EVE on an external drive. But i have an iMac that boots directly Mac OSX on a thunderbolt Promise Pegasus R4, and it works perfectly. Of course, EVE is installed on it, because I actually don't use the internal drive. ...

Ha yeah, EVE looks very great on 3 beautiful Apple screens You should be able to set the "Fixed Window Mode" to no longer have any window decoration.

I don't know for Nvidia, my imac has an AMD Radeon 6790 with 1Go DDR5. But i did not need to do anything in windows to get the 5120x1440 in the EVE client. I am able to choose the 5120x1440 in the EVE client in windowed mode and i am able to run...
