I have found that tank > gank for mish. If you can tank the mish then its only a matter of time to complete it. 100 DPS after resists should be enough to break any NPC tank. Higher DPS is nice to make the mish go faster but its tank that makes ...

I have found that when I NOS a NPC ship, its repair/boost cycle slows down if not stops. So yeah NOS is useful in missions, just not an OMGIWB as it is in PvP. --R
