2. My brief review of Burning Age - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Just finished the Burning Age novel today. I was expecting the worst based on other reviews I have seen. But honestly, I dont think it was awful. It definitely doesnt read like a stand alone novel like Empyrean Age did. It is more like a novel l...

3. Capsuleer Selection question. - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Quote: Surely we dont just queue up outside the Capsuleer Recruitment Agency and wait for a vacancy? In Burning Age it is explained that the process to become a Capsuleer is extremely unpleasant and extremely high risk (like the process ...

4. So for those who have read "Burning Age"... - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Ah, ok. I thought it was something like that. It sounded at first like they took his brain out of his body and replaced it with an artificial brain.

5. So for those who have read "Burning Age"... - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
...what was the deal with the body modder guy named "upright man"? I dont get what was so shocking about him. The text was kinda vague about it. Is he supposed to be a cyborg or something? I tried doing a google search but all that comes back ar...

6. our ships - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Quote: that sucks. Is there an a source that most people consider authoritative? All of the EVE fiction I have read so far (including both novels) says that the ships are all normal ships modified for Capsuleers. Capsuleers are unusual...

7. Mom Picks Up Empyrean Age - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
I did not get the impression from the text that they were not minors. Quite the opposite actually. I dont remember if it was ever explicitly stated though. I am going to re-read it after I get done with Burning age. This time in eBook form...it ...

8. Mom Picks Up Empyrean Age - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
You might want to warn her that it gets pretty graphic...some of the scenes involving pedophelia with gross old people might be a bit much for some. This is not a book I would lend to my mom. Although I liked it myself.

Edited by: SadisticSavior on 27/02/2009 16:52:34 Quote: Gallente - French social values with an Anglo/American approach to foreign policy. The desire to spread democracy, forcefully if need be, is very reminiscent of Neo-Conservative Ame...

Edited by: SadisticSavior on 27/02/2009 16:44:02 Amarr - Naz:s meet Catholicism. People like to say the Caldari are fascist, but I think it applies more to the Amarr. (Why is Naz: a censored word??) Minmatar - Any oppressed race would be an...

11. About the Bloodlines and Races of eve. - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Quote: America has a Senate, and a President. Runs on a democracy. They value the rights of an individual (supposedly) and have a constitution etc. And invade nations they percieve as a threat almost on a whim. Quote: Corporations...

12. About the Bloodlines and Races of eve. - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
Relax. It's a game. The EVE states do represent the extremes of some real-world governments. The Caldari, IMO, fit nicely with the stereotypical nationalistic Americans (although I can admit there is an obviously strong Japanese element as well)....

13. About the Bloodlines and Races of eve. - in EVE Fiction [original thread]

Edited by: SadisticSavior on 08/03/2006 23:02:35 Quote: The only thing that the Gallente have in common with the US is that they are both democracies as far as I can see. The Caldari are an obvious analog to the US. - They are c...
