61. 100% Bonus to Skill training speed ScreenShot - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
My recommendation is: Start new characters with the reduced 50k. Put the other 800k that currently new characters get, and put it all into Learning skills. That way a new character post March 10th has all the options to try what they want in a s...

62. Lose your modular ship, you lose SP... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Gartel Reiman Or in other words, people value their training time differently when measured in ISK - but then that's mainly because they value ISK vastly differently. For a new player, 200k ISK is a massive amount of money...

63. Lose your modular ship, you lose SP... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Gartel Reiman But that aside, I think your calculations are not stating things clearly. I am not misstating anything. To fly a "Strategic Cruiser" perfectly, you have to train (on SISI) 6 skills, which sum to a rank 10 shi...

64. Lose your modular ship, you lose SP... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Gartel Reiman This is how I'm seeing things in light of this at the moment. SP loss on death undoubtedly increases the "costs" of the ships beyond simply their market value; consequently, more interesting/powerful performanc...

66. Lose your modular ship, you lose SP... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Gartel Reiman I can understand why younger players wouldn't want to train this as they have lots of "permanent" SP they can invest in, but by the time you have 40, 50, 60+m SP, the benefits of flying T3 ships are definitely ...

69. Oh my god, it's full of bugs :) - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I agree with Akita T on this one. Quite frankly I see SISI as an extended UAT where the community assists in finding bugs that you may not be able to find during internal dev / unit testing. SISI has so many obvious bugs that it's simply not ready...

Edited by: SecHaul on 10/02/2009 14:26:46 MMOs are about progression, it's about improving your character skills and equipment. I understand EVE and WOW are different, but WOW is so successful simply because it focuses upon what drives people ...

Minmatar ships in BC hulls and below have little problem. The problem comes in with large artillery and battleships, and if anything, the tournament is showing that in droves. How many Minmatar battleships have you seen compared to Caldari / Gall...

75. *POP* goes the GTC bubble - in Market Discussions [original thread]
To me it's simple. Right now 60 days of game time costs about 600 million ISK or $30. * I'll make a broad assumption that people can earn 30 million ISK / hour, so 20 hours of in-game time and you play for free. * I'll make a second broad assu...
