Originally by: Feta Solamnia When I started playing this game, the rat bounties were literally 1/5th or less that what it is today (hardcoded part). So is rampant inflation a fix or a disaster? I can only assume rat bounties increased...

123. Specific negative impacts of inflation - in Market Discussions [original thread]
Deflation is your actual point, NOT inflation. Your point focuses upon the rich and buying power. Costs of materials best track the market health. Values of low end ores are falling leading to deflated costs of equipment. The rich can afford these...

125. Mining Crystals, are they a waste of time? - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: vinnymcg Seeing as the barge and the mining crystals would take a hell of a lot longer to train for than a MinerII and a bs (when you take into account training for all minerals) you would think that the barge would well out...

126. T2 Combat, costs, risk-taking and tip-over points - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Does attrition factor in here anywhere? Or do ppl think that lone ganked HACs dont die by T1 ambushers??? If you remove T2 from the conversation then you could easily replace it with "named" or if "named" removed you replace it with T1. Each tech...

Edited by: TotensBurntCorpse on 07/12/2005 17:09:52 This was discussed in another thread. 1) lower skilled players would be screwed over 2) not everyone used secure cans to mine, secure cans also act as ammo dumps and loot depots etc 3) RMR h...

130. [SHIP] SMALL FREIGHTER - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I can see the carriers being used as lower security freighters and will investigate that as soon as i can fly one. but they will cost even more than a billion, so the premise stands, why not have a lower capacity freighter that is more affordable....

131. There needs to be a skill to hack the password on secure containers - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
again why not just have a death timer on anchored cans and secure cans? you can blow up the cans in lower security. this idea leads to alot of abuse of lower skilled players who try to use the CCP supplied game mechanics to not get ripped off. T...

Why do you base this discussion on the belief that T2 should become a norm? T2 is an expensive toy for the highskilled and well off. As long as it stays that way lower skilled less well off players can still attempt to compete. TotensBurntCorpse ...
