It's a connection problem on your end of the line. I, and a couple of thousand others, am able to log in without problems. Contact your ISP or telephone provider.

Go into display properties; Settings |_Advanced |_Troubleshooting On this screen turn down the hardware acceleration slider by one notch, this solves a lot of problems for ATi users in many games.

When the cursor disappears in full screen mode press escape to bring up the options menu and start moving the mouse around. The cursor will eventually reappear (it does for me anyway). If this fails then go into display properties; Settings |_Ad...

The only reason it wouldn't validate, apart from incorrect info, is if you didn't have enough money on the card. If you have another card then try that one.
