They've already stopped dropping them completely. As far as I know, there are no plans to re-introduce this feature since it was damaging the viability of POS operations. I for one hope that agents never drop T2 components.

The only real problem with deadspaces at the moment is that the first person to fire on the rats is inevitably the first person to die. The fact that there are 23 BS's should be taken as a challenge; all you need to do is gather a large enough fle...
