2. Where can I download today's patch? - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
When I used to play on Linux with Wine, client updates wouldn't download with it due to a specific incompatibility. IIRC I could manually "install" the update by copying the update data file out of the 'C:\ProgramData' folder (on Windows 7) on a c...

3. UI windows resizing - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
CCP Aporia wrote: Oh, and station information will return with the winter release. :-) Can it be collapsible? Having the option to save screen realestate is good, and I was experimenting with a horizontal station services layout.

4. cant use my keyboard in Trinity? - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I have this problem as well, however I am running the Linux client. Copy-Pasting doesn't even work for me. What is happening is that any key presses are being registered by the program in the background, and not by EVE. I left open a text editor ...

They accidentally released the internal build of the test client which required the server IP to be supplied as a command line option. There is a post in the Game Development Forum with the specifics, but its along the lines of adding '/end /serve...

7. Hyperthreading - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Previously, running EVE across multiple cores has caused stability problems. This was fixed by going into the task manager and changing the Processor Affinity for EVE's process (ExeFile.exe) to one core only. This problem has improved since then b...

Can't comment on getting a refund - haven't heard anything one way or another. Though, if I may ask.. If you were so unsure about whether you would like the game to dismiss it after only 30 minutes, why didn't you try the free trial first or at l...

9. Why does my pc crash to the desktop on eve? - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Originally by: Sandeep It is designed to CTD when you are disconnected. If that is the case it would give you a "Connection to Server Interrupted" or something message after the client auto-restarts. I would recommend running the logs...

13. Anyone Else Playing EVE on a Projector? - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I too was once in the market for a projector, so I've got a little research on them. To run EVE properly, just make sure that it can produce a minimum 1024x786 resolution. This is average size for most projectors, but low end ones use 800x600 com...
