782. Serpentis Narcotic Warehouse (3/10) - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
The Serpentis 4/10 is borken (never drops anything valuable), and always has been, as far as I am aware. As for the 3/10, the price of Gistii boosters peaked at 120m around Christmas and has since been on a steady decline, indicating that the over...

Originally by: Wheya The biggest flaw of eve is focused fire. QFT. This makes combat mostly about who has the greater numbers. The only way to break out of that mould at the moment is with very high speed setups, which are going to be ...

785. Did you see that???!! - in Market Discussions [original thread]
For a while it was possible to buy Neural Boost - Basic in Oursulaert @17m and sell in Stacmon @23-25m, two regions and 10 jumps away. The spread has got a lot narrower now and I'm still trying to sell the last batch. When I was a noob running mi...

No; manual warp to zero is a convenience put in to stop people creating billions of bookmarks 15km past gates.

788. What to do with Alloys? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
They are the alternative to bounties on drones. Reprocess and sell them, either immediately or when you have a stockpile. Note that the alloys take up less space than the minerals, so haul to selling location first.

791. Skill Levels - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Level is how far you have learnt the skill, on a scale of 1-5. Rank is a measure of how hard the skill is to learn. Training level 4 to 5 on a rank 3 skill takes three times as long as it would on a rank 1 skill.

795. [Rev] Tristan - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Don't try to fit a Tristan for gank, the blaster Incursus is just better at that, even with low skills. You could try putting a 400mm plate, 20km scram and some 75mm rails on it, but then you have a tanky frigate that doesn't have much damage outp...

799. turn of computer - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Turning off sound and making sure all your drivers are up to date is a good start; otherwise it could well be a heat problem as Eve is very hard on the CPU - more so than most games, which offload work to the graphics card.
