The main problem is that you cannot use an PLEX and get a PLEX, regardless of how you transfer it. Either you get 30 days gametime added directly, or he has to pay with real money. The buddy program does not allow PLEX for PLEX. Also it's EULA.

There's two station environments, the hanger and CQ. That graphics option toggles both of them on or off. Just use the massive blue button on the station panel when the options it turned back on.
