1 tip on the CPU usage, enable V-sync in the nvidia-settings utility, on my systems (one a laptop with the 8600m) eve will peg a cpu core and run @ 100+ fps especially in station, makes the laptop really hot, v-sync drops cpu usage to < 5%. Ha...
